Randy Schmidt recently completed the refurbishment of our pulpit – adding a couple of wood carvings and a larger surface for papers. The carvings include the Presbyterian cross as well as a verse from 1 Corinthians on the back “Preach Christ crucified.” It is a reminder to the preacher to focus on the heart of the Gospel for the sake of the people. Thanks to Randy for his wonderful craftsmanship as well as a couple of anonymous donors who generously gave to make this refurbishment a reality.
