Do YOU want to be part of the Salvation Army Ministry?
The Deacons are looking for volunteers to be part of four Ministry Teams that will participate in the Salvation Army Feed the Homeless Program. Our teams will work on the dates listed above (Saturdays) to prepare, deliver and serve food to 150 people at the Modesto shelter.
This is how you can help…
Sign up to either prep, arriving at 12:30pm on the Saturday date listed above at the Faith Center. You will help prepare the main dish, salad, wrap eating utensils and napkins or help with other tasks that help us prepare to serve the meal.
Sign up to serve at the shelter. You will arrive at the Faith Center at 5:45pm and drive to the shelter with others. There you will help set up the serving items and food on tables and then begin to serve the food and drinks.
Some will share the Gospel with the people at the shelter. You are welcome to participate in that ministry too.
Sign up to donate cookies. Bring your cookies on Friday during office hours, 9-3, or drop off by 3pm on the Saturday of the meal.
